Announcements from AJET

AJET will be holding several events in the near future, including elections for new members for the National AJET Council and Block Representatives, a Spring Opinion Exchange, a Kyushu Hanami event (in Kumamoto!), and a gathering in Okinawa.

Please click “continue reading” to see the details of each event!

Looking to get involved in your community? Want to make a difference on a national level while gaining invaluable leadership experience? Why not consider joining the National AJET Council or becoming a Block Representative?

Elections for next year’s AJET team begin March 1st and close on March 19th. You can check out the election page to get a feel for what each role will entail. Feel free to reach out to your Block Representative, Christine, if you have any questions!

It’s also nearly time for the Spring Opinion Exchange. The exchange will open a survey from March 12th to March 23rd. Please consider contributing to this survey, as we are looking to surpass our national average this time around! More information on the Opinion Exchange will be released closer to the date.

March 24th: All-Kyushu Hanami, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm

Join JETs and friends from all across Kyushu at Kumamoto Castle to enjoy some bentos, beer, and blossoms! The event is open to all with no RSVP required, so bring your friends. For those interested, there will be an after-hanami enkai held at Celts. Please RSVP for the enkai to ensure your spot. More information can be found on the Facebook Event:
